Slimarous’ music can be described as a new strain of Hip Hop. His work ethic and focus separate him from the competition. His motto is “all great accomplishments take time and require patience.” Hence, he puts great emphasis on quality over quantity in terms of releasing music.

Moreover, Slim is a true “Master of Ceremony.” He knows how to rock a crowd. His concert performances are filled with ferocious energy and execution. Alex Jordahl – ‘Til The Lights Go Out

July 31, 2015

By Uptown Toney

After the release of “Death of Me” I reached out to Alex Jordahl and Steezefield to share a few kind words about their chemistry and to let the two Illinois-natives know that they should keep up their awe inspiring brand of music. The two do just that on their newest collaboration “‘Til The Lights Go Out.”

Setting the stage for his forthcoming project, Jordahl vents all across Steeze’s ambient anthemic production, expressing just how he feels right now. Very crisp and swaggy, Alex uses more of his melodic sung-rap talents and even calls upon Steezefield for a few additional vocals.

Speaking of vocals, the looped screeching voice on this cut seems eerily close to Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood cut “Promises” but as it turns out, it isn’t. The sample used in this case is from “Rasik” off Grimes’ album Halfaxa. Take a listen below and look out for more from Alex Jordahl and Steezefield in the future.

By Ashley Outrageous

It was just over a year ago when I discovered these two and they’ve got me musically wrapped around their finger ever since. It’s not often you find artists that compliment each other so effortlessly and these guys do just that.

Australian singer CVIRO and fellow Gold Coast producer GXNXVS have teamed up yet again for their latest single “Sober”.

With scores of collaborations in the past, this dynamic duo has gone above and beyond their past releases. The two bring out the best in one another in this infectious new production. CVIRO’s entrancing vocals powerfully intertwine with GXNXVS’ synth driven melodies creating a unique and hazy sound. The duo’s progressive and futuristic take on classic R&B is refreshing and captivating and will leave you wanting more.
