CAVIART – “The Garden” [EP]

Dannie Phantom and V-Shawn make up the Philly-bred DJ/production duo CAVIART, and today the artists bring us their debut project. After meeting in high school band and spending years of collaboration and college experience, Dannie & V-Shawn began to discover their own sound.
“The Garden” EP showcases new songs which are all produced, written and engineered in-house. Each song represents a year’s worth of loving and learning, experiencing and experimenting, and ultimately finding the music within themselves. Fans are in for a treat if they purchase on iTunes or stream on Apple Music, which gives them access to two bonus tracks.

Over the Thanksgiving weekend South Florida hip hop artist Maine Event released his latest project Now Or Never: Chapter 2, the sequel to his “Now or Never” mixtape series which released in 2014 via his label Black Congress Music Group. The 8 track tape features vocals from Jay Burna, Face, The Kidd EP & production from Sounds by Creole, Orion Beats plus more.

Nash – “Marathon”

Nash, the New Jersey based rapper/singer/producer by way of Kingston Jamaica, shares his latest track “Marathon.” No stranger to the music industry, the up-and-comer has been behind-the-scenes penning for artists such as Mary J Blige and more. On this record, Nash finally steps into the spotlight as an indie artist ready to prove himself as not only a writer but as a performer as well. Linking with Brooklyn’s, U’Kno Tha Don, the two create a smash single. The Nybangerz-produced record is a cut off Nash’s forthcoming project.

Vonte – “The Prelude” [EP]

Chicago artist Vonte drops off his debut project, an EP titled ‘The Prelude.’ Vonte was organic in the entire process and remained true to himself. ‘The Prelude’ is about the pain, the triumph and how Vonte sees the Windy City through his own eyes. Vonte loves Chicago and wants better for his hometown. The Chicago artist believes he has what it takes to put the Westside of Chicago on his back.

Chris Brown Release Surprise Mixtape ‘Before The Party’

Lil Wayne, Erykah Badu, and Fabolous aren’t the only ones dropping new music this holiday weekend. Out of nowhere, Chris Brown surprises with a mixtape of his own. In addition to debuting a video for “Fine By Me” earlier in the day, Breezy has more in store for Team Breezy on Before the Party, which serves as a prelude to his upcoming album Royalty, due Dec. 18.

Coming in at a whopping 34 tracks, the star-studded set includes never-before-heard collaborations with Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, Tyga, Fetty Wap, French Montana, and Kelly Rowland.
