Kazzie – 88 ft. Fetty Wap

Since his departure from NWEMG and going the whole DIY route, Newark, NJ-native Kazzie has been gaining some nice ground by creating quality singles like his latest “88.” Dedicated to the hustlers of the late 80’s this Mr. Wonder-produced song features the young emcee showing off his skills to create a catchy anthemic style record without reaching or straying too far from what he knows.

On “88” Kazzie picks up a feature from Passaic, NJ’s Fetty Wap who provides a rap-sung free verse that some what fades into the background. I’m not sold on Fetty Wap yet. His whole style reminds me of Tax G, another Rap crooner from the great state of New Jersey. That aside, his hype and cosigns off of one single seems to be casting a bigger shadow than what’s actually there.

It will be interesting however to see what Kazzie does once he delivers his forthcoming Hood Stoner later this month. For now, stream “88” below!
