On April 27th, Bay Area-native Marc E. Bassywill be dropping East Hollywood, the follow up to May 2014 debut mixtape, Only the Poets (Vol. 1). The project will feature appearances from Bobby Brackins, Pia Mia, P-Lo, and Wynter Gordon with production provided by A Chal, Count Basey, Jacob Olofsson, Micheal Keenan, Nght Night, Nic Nac and Nikhil. Today, the young rap crooner releases his Nght Nght-produced track “Some Things Never Change.”

Filling the Blue-eyed soul and R&B void that was left behind by singer-songwriter. Jon B., Bassy’s broods about the choices he’s made to achieve the ‘American Dream.’ “When I say ‘money, fame’ it’s not really just that. I’m trying to convey that once you’ve begun dedicating your life to something like entertainment you can’t really escape,” says Bassey It’s an all of nothing path you take if you wanna sing these songs for everybody.”
